Request Coverage

Ouachita's Office of Communications & Marketing provides press release writing and distribution services to current students, faculty and staff through its student News Bureau as schedules permit.

Please include as much detail as possible: date, time, location, ticket price, program information, etc. (Or upload a Word document below.) Beyond the basic facts, what is special about the program that readers should be aware of? Is there anything unique or atypical for this performance?
Please share a few personal comments about the event or honor, including what the significance is and/or the impact you hope it achieves. We're looking for quotes we can include in the story to strengthen the facts themselves, give a personal angle to the story and add a voice of standing to the story. Our audience is the external public, not current students, so speak to community members, the broader media and people who may not be familiar with the university. // If someone else should be interviewed in addition to you, please list their names here.
Please include contact information if possible.
Please email any additional files to [email protected]. Files could include a Word document with the complete event program, cast list, artist statement or a photo (portraits/headshots of key individuals, images of artwork, etc.). For concerts, include the complete set list with song titles (including larger works) and composers, as well as any soloists or featured artists.

Please include, in order of performance: song titles, major work titles and composer name(s), as well as any notes about assisting artists for each piece. (Or email a Word document to [email protected].)
