Ouachita's Adams Department of Art & Design to host "Matter + Spirit" through Dec. 13
November 21, 2023The Rosemary Gossett Adams Department of Art & Design at Ouachita Baptist University will host “Matter + Spirit: A Chinese/American Exhibition” through Wednesday, Dec. 13, in Adams Galleries 1 & 2 of Moses-Provine Hall and Hammons Gallery in Mabee Fine Arts Center. Admission is free.
Ouachita hosts photography exhibit by Margo Duvall through Nov. 16
October 13, 2022Ouachita Baptist University’s Rosemary Gossett Adams Department of Art & Design is hosting photographer Margo Duvall’s exhibit “All She Needed to Do” through Nov. 16 in the Adams Gallery in Moses-Provine Hall. Duvall will speak about her work on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 3 p.m. in Moses-Provine 206, with a reception immediately following.
Ouachita Baptist University’s School of Fine Arts will host students Brady Barton, Gabrielle Davis, Mandy Halbert and Mallory Morris in their senior graphic design exhibits through Wednesday, March 31, in the Rosemary Gossett Adams Galleries in Moses-Provine Hall. While the artists will forgo receptions and gallery talks due to continued COVID-19 precautions, the exhibits are free and open to the public for viewing.
Ouachita's School of Fine Arts announces adjusted spring events
February 09, 2021Ouachita Baptist University’s School of Fine Arts has adjusted its Spring 2021 events, including concerts, theatre productions and art galleries, to allow students to continue their performance education as well as provide safe viewing for audiences following COVID-19 guidelines from the Arkansas Department of Health and Ouachita’s Health Monitoring and Action Team.
Ouachita to host "Unseen Imprints" exhibit by guest artist Trinity Kai through Dec. 11
October 27, 2020Ouachita Baptist University’s Rosemary Adams Department of Art and Design will host “Unseen Imprints,” an exhibit by guest artist Trinity Kai, beginning Monday, Nov. 2. The exhibit will be displayed in the Rosemary Gossett Adams Gallery on the first floor of Moses-Provine Hall through December 11 and is free and open to the public.
Student Juried Art Show on display through Oct. 4, Jones wins first place
October 01, 2020Earlier this month, Ouachita Baptist University’s Rosemary Adams Department of Art and Design announced Sollie Jones, a 2020 communications & media/film studies graduate from Livingston, Texas, as the winner of its annual Student Juried Art Show. The exhibit, which features an array of art pieces created by students across campus, currently is on display on the first floor of the Rosemary Gossett Adams Gallery in Moses-Provine Hall and is free and open to the public through Oct. 4.
Ouachita hosts printmaking exhibit "Pigments and Process" Jan. 14-March 6
January 15, 2020Ouachita Baptist University’s Rosemary Adams Department of Art and Design will host a group exhibition titled “Pigments and Process” from Jan. 14 to March 6 featuring the work of Arkansas printmakers. The exhibit will be displayed in the Rosemary Gossett Adams Gallery on the second floor of Moses-Provine Hall and is free and open to the public. A reception for the featured artists will be held Thursday, Jan. 30, from 1-2 p.m.

October 15, 2019Ouachita Baptist University’s Rosemary Adams Department of Art and Design is hosting a juried visual art exhibition coordinated by the Arkansas Arts Council through Friday, Oct. 25. The Small Works on Paper exhibit, which will be displayed in the Rosemary Gossett Adams Gallery on the first and second floor of Moses-Provine Hall, is free and open to the public.

March 10, 2023Two exhibits featuring a variety of media are on display through March 31 in Ouachita Baptist University’s Adams Gallery of Moses-Provine Hall.
