Come out to the Eubanks’ Lake in Caddo Valley for some water fun. We will spend the afternoon swimming, floating, hammocking, and try out some canoes, kayaks, and stand up paddleboards. This event is FREE. No registration required. We will meet at the lake, 181 Lower Dam Pike. Feel free to join us for all or just part of the afternoon (2-5 p.m.).

What to Bring: Water bottle, swimsuit, sunscreen, sunglasses, towel, hammock
Meeting Place/Time: 181 Lower Dam Pike, 2-5 p.m. Drive North on 10th St. towards Caddo Valley. When you go under the I-30 Bridge turn left onto Lower Dam Pike (NOT THE ON-RAMP). Drive for 1 mile and take your first left turn onto a gravel road that says private drive. Follow that gravel road to the swim area.

Spend the night on an island in beautiful Lake Ouachita. We will paddle canoes to the island where we can play in the water and enjoy a beautiful lakeside campsite. All food and gear is provided.

Moonlight Canoe event

Paddle Lower DeGray Lake by the light of the moon. Due to the nature of this event space is limited so sign up today! When you register choose one of the time slots that works for you.

What to Bring: Footwear can either be sandals if you don’t mind wet feet or rain boot type footwear. Bring a flashlight, headlamps work best. Do not take anything in the canoe with you that you don’t want to get wet.
Meeting Place/Time: Lower DeGray Lake, 7:30 p.m. or 9 p.m. Head to Caddo Valley on Highway 7. Once you go under the interstate take a left onto Lower Dam Pike. Follow this for 2 miles until it dead ends at a gravel road. Instead of turning left into the park, travel straight 100 yards on the gravel to the parking lot.
Program End Time: 9 p.m. or 10:30 p.m.

Spend Fall Break experiencing the beautiful Ouachita National Forest. We will backpack the entire 26.8 miles of the Eagle Rock Loop. No experience necessary, but must be capable of carrying a backpack over rocky terrain. We will meet to pack our gear Wednesday afternoon then hit the trail Thursday morning. Space is limited so signup today!

There is nothing better than watching the sunset from the top of a mountain. Join us as we hike 1.5-miles round trip up Pinnacle Mountain near Little Rock. After the hike, we will head to a restaurant to eat, so bring money for some delicious food.

There’s no better way to celebrate fall than camping out at the Eubank’s Lake with all your friends!!! We’ll bring the food and the treats. Come out at 4 p.m. to spend some time paddling and hiking. We will do dinner around 6 p.m. with pumpkins and s’mores to follow. After the festivities we will campout and wake up for a yummy breakfast and then head back to campus when you need to. Pumpkins, camping gear, and food will be provided.

Program End Time: Saturday, Nov. 2, approximately 10 a.m.

Travel to the Ozark Mountains for some fun in creation. We will go to Horseshoe Canyon Ranch for camping Friday and Saturday night. We will spend Saturday rock climbing and relaxing in hammocks. This location has climbs of all difficulties, so beginners and seasoned pros are welcome. On Sunday, we will hike the Lost Valley Trail and see some beautiful waterfalls and a cool cave with a waterfall in it. Join us for a time of camping, climbing, relaxing, exploring, hiking, hammocking, and more. All travel, camping gear, climbing gear, and camping meals are provided.

Place: Ozark Mountains – Horseshoe Canyon Ranch
Price: $25 (plus one travel meal)

Disc Golf

Let’s get together and throw some discs! We will carpool to the Lower DeGray Lake Disc Golf Course and play a round together. This is a great opportunity for new folks who are interested in disc golf as well as veterans to meet other like-minded players. Discs will be provided for those who need them.

The CRAG will be open for a night of Christmas Cheer. Wear your favorite Christmas sweater, listen to some carols, and eat some snacks.
