About

I graduated in 1996 from Ouachita with a degree in Education. I taught at an Elementary school for about three years, then decided to stay at home with my children for about 11 years at which time I felt the Lord was calling me to get my masters degree in special education. I have worked in the public schools for about 9 years doing resource in the elementary school, and then for the last 5 years I have done Special Education with preschool children.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love to go thrifting and find discarded items to give them new life and use them in different ways.

What is your favorite place on campus and why?

My favorite place on Campus would be Cone-Bottoms Steps. There are so many memories of my undergraduate days sitting there and waiting on friends and just enjoying the beauty of the campus. It is also where we have taken a family picture every year as we have attended Ouachita Tiger Tunes as my children have grown up.
