About
My passion for art and design started at a young age. I believe that God is the ultimate
Creator, and it is a delight to reflect, enjoy, and imitate the gift of creation.
Since joining the Ouachita admissions staff in 2018, I have found a new joy for working
with prospective students. Having lived in this college community as a student myself,
I love getting to share that experience with others. My role is to walk students and
their families through this decision process in their senior year as they think through
the majors, locations, financial aid, community (and more!) of schools on their shortlist.
Ultimately, I want to help YOU find the best place, where the Lord is leading, to
spend the next four years of your college journey!
Fun Facts
My husband, Adam, and I met here at Ouachita during our freshman year. We lived in
Wilmore, Ky., for two years post-graduation for him to pursue a Master of Arts in
Biblical studies. Now, you'll catch him teaching your Bible Survey or Greek classes
over in Berry Peeples Bible Building!
Adam and I have a rescue pup, Murphy, that we walk around campus almost every day.
He loves all the attention he can get! I also enjoy spending time at the lake, reading
a book with a cup of hot tea (always love a good recommendations for both!) or watching
movies. My obsessions include Welsh Corgis, Marvel, Twenty One Pilots, the Texas Rangers,
and "New Girl."
Fun fact: I just painted the new Tiger Sharks logo in the bottom of the SPEC swimming
pool!
Silly fact: I am a HUGE fan of the Oxford comma.
