Ouachita Baptist University’s Ben M. Elrod Center for Family and Community has been awarded a $210,000 challenge grant from the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation. Ouachita trustees approve 2013-14 budget, elect new faculty and staff
June 18, 2013Ouachita Baptist University trustees approved a 2013-14 operating budget and a concealed weapons policy as well as several personnel recommendations during their June 13 Board of Trustees meeting on the Ouachita campus. June 4, 2013A total of 265 students at Ouachita Baptist University were named to the President’s List for the spring 2013 semester.

Ouachita alum to present university with U.S. flag flown in Afghanistan
May 30, 2013Flag Day is coming early this year to the Ouachita Baptist University campus.
Maj. Johnpaul Arnold, a public affairs officer with the U.S. Army, will present an American flag flown in Afghanistan to Ouachita’s School of Humanities. The outdoor ceremony, set for 10 a.m. on Friday, June 7, will be held at Ouachita’s International Flag Plaza. (more…)
