November 13, 2009Ouachita Baptist University’s Department of Visual Arts has invited the Caddo River Art Guild to exhibit its work in the Hammons Gallery located in Mabee Fine Arts Center on Ouachita’s campus, from Nov. 23 to Dec. 17. Ouachita beats Henderson in inaugural Battle of the Ravine Blood Drive
November 12, 2009Ouachita Baptist University not only won on the football field during the 2009 Battle of the Ravine but also in blood donations. Students to present musical theatre choreography showcase Nov. 23
November 10, 2009Ouachita Baptist University’s department of fine arts will present a musical theatre choreography showcase on Nov. 23 at 4 p.m. in Verser Theatre on Ouachita’s campus. The students currently enrolled in the musical theatre choreography course will informally present the 13 musical theatre works that they have been preparing throughout the semester. OBU science students win research awards
November 10, 2009Two Ouachita Baptist University students recently won awards at the Arkansas INBRE Research Convention in Fayetteville. Max Ford, a sophomore chemistry major from Arkadelphia, earned first place in the chemistry and biochemistry poster competition and Lauren Nelson, a senior biology major from Russellville, Ark., was awarded second place in the biology oral presentations competition.
