After a year of planning, Ouachita Baptist University’s Pruet School of Christian Studies hosted a hands-on mission study trip to Santiago, Chile, and surrounding areas this summer. Ouachita Baptist University will host internationally renowned flutist Tadeu Coelho in a guest recital on Saturday, Oct. 3. Coelho will also present a lecture and master class sponsored by OBU, The Hot Springs Flute Ensemble and Miyazaya Flutes. All events on Oct. 3 are free and open to the public and will take place in Mabee Fine Arts Center’s McBeth Recital Hall on Ouachita’s campus. (more…)

Goldilocks on Trial will be this fall’s featured children’s production hosted by Ouachita Baptist University’s School of Fine Arts Department of Theatre Arts. The children’s play will be performed Sept. 24-26 and 28-29 at 7 p.m. and Sept. 27 at 2:30 p.m. in Ouachita’s Verser Theatre.
