Ouachita prayer service held to commemorate anniversary of Flight 1420

A prayer service will be held Monday, June 1, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the crash of American Airlines Flight 1420. The service will take place at 12 noon in Berry Chapel on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University. (more…)

Hazen High School seniors receive scholarships to attend Ouachita Baptist University

Ouachita Baptist University officials have announced the students selected to receive the Bill and Sharon Arnold Family Educational Foundation Scholarships. The recipients include: Samantha Chidester, B. J. Harrison, Jonathan King and Colby Petty, all of DeValls Bluff; and Paige Walters of Hazen. Each of the students graduated from Hazen High School in the class of 2009. (more…)
